The Willamette Art Center’s programming, services and activities revolve around three main areas: art education and promotion, art opportunity and the betterment of the community through art. These services and activities are accomplished by offering exciting classes, workshops and camps to children and adults, studio workspace for the independent artist.

The Friends of the Waldron Brothers Drugstore's mission is to restore and maintain the historic Waldron Brothers Drugstore in The Dalles, Oregon, for the benefit of the community.

The Friends of the Yachats Commons Foundation has been raising monies for Commons improvements and coordinating arts and cultural programs since October, 1995. FYC Foundation was started by community members as a way to provide fundraisers and program management resources for the community. The Friends 501(C)3 fiscally sponsors the Yachats Academy of Arts and Science, the Farmer's Market, the Big Band Dance and provides performance space for two local performing arts groups.

FOT founded in 1975 is dedicated to preserve and conserve Timberline Lodge, protect its historical integrity and communicate the spirit of its builders by raising funds and coordinating community efforts to accomplish these goals.

Since our founding in 1989, thousands of volunteers have helped us plant over 600,000 trees and native plants in natural areas throughout the Pacific Northwest and in neighborhoods from Eugene to Vancouver. Friends of Trees brings people together to plant trees and grow communities.

The mission of Friends of Tryon Creek (FOTC), in partnership with Oregon State Parks, is to inspire and nurture relationships with nature in this unique urban forest. FOTC’s goal of adding value to Tryon Creek State Natural Area is achieved by offering meaningful educational and stewardship programs; creating a range of volunteer opportunities, and developing successful partnerships with Oregon Parks and Recreation Department and others who share our values and goals.

Friends of Yaquina Lighthouses is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to aid in the preservation of Newport's lighthouses, and to enhance the interpretive programs for the lighthouses and their surrounding natural areas.

From the Ground UP : A Research and Development Center for New Art is a Portland OR, based organization that fosters the creation of new art. We seek to expand, reimagine and invent new ways of making, producing and presenting art. Focusing on marginalized populations we elevate sidelined voices, invoke important community dialogues and support the creation and presenting of stories that are often overlooked. Knowing that by bringing these stories to the forefront we can create spaces that empower artists, invite the unusual, challenge norms and forge new pathways that uplift individuals and communities both here and beyond.

Future Prairie is a queer art museum founded in January 2018 by poet Joni Renee Whitworth. ​We host artist residencies in beautiful downtown Portland, Oregon, and we pay marginalized artists to create art. Our work centers the narratives of women, disabled, racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual minorities, and low-income individuals. Our curatorial team is comprised of opera singer Emmanuel Henreid, filmmaker Hannah Hefner, and designer Tiana Avila.

The Gallery Players of Oregon inspires our community through the performing arts, inviting people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to learn, teach, grow and express themselves in a creative and supportive environment.

Our Mission: We build community by connecting you to resources, programs and one another. Garden Home Library began in 1983 using leftover books from Garden Home Elementary School, which closed in 1982. In 1994, Garden Home Community Library Association became an official non-profit organization, then joined Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) in 1996. After expanding once in 2004, the library will grow to over 3,000 square feet with another expansion slated for 2018-19.

Gather:Make:Shelter creates opportunities for people experiencing houselessness and poverty to engage in collaborative, skill-building projects in creative fields, bringing houseless and housed people together to empower each other.

The Gay and Lesbian Archives of the Pacific Northwest's (GLAPN) mission is to serve the greater public interest by advancing the visibility of queer cultural history within the Pacific Northwest.

Founded in 1946, GFO is an all-volunteer membership organization that strives to promote, educate, compile, publish and preserve genealogy and genealogical resources. To accomplish this, GFO offers an array of classes, workshops, and seminars while operating the largest genealogical research library in Oregon with over 40,000 holdings and providing access to six online database subscriptions. Visitors are always welcome, and non-members can use the library for free once a month.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for adults, youth, and children in the Tri-County region to perform, grow and explore their talents through various creative expressions, including musical theater productions, plays, original performance pieces, and workshops, by offering year-round community-based theater for all ages.

The Gilbert House Children’s Museum is a private nonprofit children’s museum located in downtown Salem’s Riverfront Park. Founded in 1989, Gilbert House Children’s Museum provides innovative and stimulating educational experiences which spark children’s natural curiosity. The Museum’s mission is to “inspire children to learn through creative play.” This is accomplished through fun and challenging exhibits, including outdoor areas, camps, birthday parties, and onsite classes.

The Gilliam County Historical Museum Complex was established to preserve and display artifacts and documents perpetuating the memory and spirit of the people who were vital to the development of Gilliam County

Girl Circus is a collaborative project of director Darcy DuRuz and composer Dave Bender. We bring together professional and amateur performers ages 5 to 65 with professional musicians and singers from all over the PNW and create plot and character driven circus shows with original scripts, music, and choreography. Our mission is to create theater which is uplifting, non-objectifying, inspires human empowerment, and strengthens a sense of community among performers and audiences.

Grace Institute nurtures the human spirit through the arts, fostering intercultural appreciation and understanding in an open and inclusive community.

The mission of the Grande Ronde Symphony Association is to support and promote the ongoing music programs of the Grande Ronde Symphony Orchestra, the Grande Ronde Student Symphony, and the Grande Ronde Chamber Series, thereby enhancing the quality of life in our region.

Greenwood Hills Cemetery Maintenance Association is a volunteer organization dedicated to maintaining the grounds of Greenwood Hills Cemetery in a manner that respects the dead, honors the living, and preserves a valuable connection with our rich pioneer history.  Through responsible stewardship of resources, we strive to maintain a safe and beautiful open space where people can come to remember the past and enjoy the natural world which we hold in sacred trust for the future.

The Gresham Historical Society is dedicated to providing a center for the collection, preservation, exhibition, and publication of material of historical and cultural importance; to acquiring documents, manuscripts, publications, artifacts, and images; to promoting knowledge and appreciation of Gresham’s history to the public through educational programs and exhibitions.

The Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting every student in our school district. We partner with our community to provide funding to foster innovative and engaging learning experiences and provide opportunities to ensure that every student has what they need to experience a world-competitive education.

Located near the Oregon State Capitol in the heart of Salem, the museum’s collections reflect the rich Pacific Northwest culture and explore the history of art around the world. Special exhibitions range from classical works to modern masters, while the permanent galleries feature works by Pacific Northwest and Native American artists as well as a diverse collection of Ancient, European, American and Asian art.

Described by The Seattle Times as having “the kind of promise, fearlessness and energy that the American theater needs, and should encourage,” Hand2Mouth is a permanent ensemble of artists led by Artistic Director Jonathan Walters. Hand2Mouth has received multiple Portland “Drammy” Awards, including for Outstanding Ensemble Performance and Outstanding Production.

Mrs. Anna Cater donated to the society 10 lots and $10,00 to establish a museum and a library. The money was placed in escrow to be matched two years later by the citizens of the county. The museum was dedicated on August 2, 1960. We have a large collection of artifacts from pioneer families, a wildlife exhibit, archaeological exhibits, the history of the Edward Hines Mill, plus much more. We are open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 - 4:00 from the second weekend in April through September.

Since its inception in 2010 Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre/Northwest (HDDT/NW) has been creating captivating storytelling through site-specific dance choreography in Portland, Oregon and the surrounding metropolitan areas. Performers with HDDT/NW are Portland residents, while the various annual productions draw upon the talents of nationally recognized choreographers and artistic directors.

The Hellenic-American Cultural Center & Museum (HACCM) is the leading 501(c)(3) museum and cultural center of its kind in the Western United States. It is located on the second floor of the Fr. Elias Stephanopoulos Center. HACCM was created to:

• Gather, preserve and share the Hellenic (Greek) American experience in Oregon and SW Washington
• Celebrate the rich cultural tradition brought to this region by Hellenes
• Honor the activities and accomplishments of Hellenic Americans.

The Helvetia-Alpengluehn Singing Society is open to all who are Swiss, or of Swiss descent or anyone interested in the promotion of Swiss music, to foster an appreciation of Swiss folk music, yodel music, Swiss history and traditions, through public performance and any other appropriate means.

The Heritage Museum Society is a 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to support the Independence Heritage Museum in its mission to “collect and share the natural history and diverse cultural heritage of the river community of Independence".

The Hermiston Downtown District works to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Hermiston by helping revitalize, enhance, and maintain the economic, social, aesthetic, and cultural environment of Hermiston’s historic downtown area.

To enable a deeper understanding of the region's arts, culture, history and natural sciences through the presentation and interpretation of visual art exhibits, historical artifacts, living history performances and wildlife encounters. The High Desert Museum also hosts the Waterston Desert Writing Prize program.

Bagpipe and drum program serves to build a foundation of lifelong interest and appreciation of bagpipe band music through a quality program of instruction for youth pipers and drummers.

The Hillsboro Schools Foundation (HSF) inspires excellence in Hillsboro Schools by providing resources for innovative programs that fall outside the scope of normal education funding. Recent arts investments in Hillsboro schools have included funding for the district wide Mariachi Band, Korean Drums for elementary schools, and Theater Technology for drama classes at Liberty High School.

Community orchestra offering affordable concerts in Hillsboro, Oregon, with music for everyone's taste; and an opportunity for musicians of any age and experience level to hone their skills and perform for an audience three times each year.

The Hillsboro Visual Arts Association, dba Sequoia Gallery and Studios, a non-profit 501c3 since 2008, exhibits the work of 31 artists with exhibits changing each month. Workshops are taught by regional artists, exhibits are hung in the gallery each month and community art events are sponsored several times a year. 13 art studios show artists at work. Sequoia hosts a community exhibit called Hip to B Square, and will organize a Plein Air outdoor festival in the fall of 2016 in Washington County

Built in 1926 as a vaudeville/movie theater and restored in 2004 as a nonprofit, the Elsinore Theatre is a beautiful example of Tudor Gothic design with exceptional acoustics and 1,200-seat auditorium. The theatre was designed to resemble the castle in Hamlet, Shakespeare’s greatest drama. The purpose of the Elsinore is to offer arts and cultural performances that enhance quality of life in Oregon's capital city.

We envision Downtown Hillsboro as a setting where personal connections and individual contributions create a welcoming and inclusive place for you and your neighbors to find community.

Historic, Jacksonville, Inc., established in 2013, helps preserve historic structures in Jacksonville's National Historic Landmark District by bringing them to life through educational programs, events, and activities. Current programs include Victorian theme tours, 1932 Living History, 1863 Beekman Bank tours, "Pioneer History in Story & Song," Haunted History walks, History Trivia, and History Mystery.

The Historic Meacham Hotel & Retreat Center is dedicated to preserving the hotel, built in 1897, its' history, and providing a place for cultural activities, retreats and meetings. The hotel sits on acreage along Meacham Creek and has a log meeting building and walking trails/picnic areas. Various groups use the facility for quilting retreats, fiddle jams, weddings, day team meetings, local community gatherings, etc. Archiving old timer's memories and photos is a continual activity.

PRESERVE | ENTERTAIN | REVITALIZE The Holly Theatre restoration is a project of Jefferson Live!, restoring the historic theater to it's original 1930 design and splendor in downtown Medford. Jefferson Live! fosters the arts, provides cultural enrichment and enhances economic opportunities in Southern Oregon and Northern California through the operation and programming of cultural facilities.

The Hollywood Theatre is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through the art of film while preserving a historic Portland landmark. Every year, we exhibit the best in independent, classic, and cult film, with more than 400 screenings and numerous film festivals; teach film production, media literacy, and storytelling to 2,000 area youth; and provide fiscal sponsorship services to local filmmakers, film projects, and festivals.

Homestead Lighthouse Press, Inc. publishes trailblazing global poetry, fiction, memoir & offers educational literary programs, especially in rural and traditionally underserved areas.

 The mission of the Homowo and Twins Foundation is to promote awareness of the culture of Ghana through the production of an annual Homowo and Twins Festival, including drumming, dancing, handicrafts, and food.

The History Museum is a vibrant center for engaging all people in a better understanding of the community’s heritage that preserves the past, relates it to the present and shapes our future. Our mission is to:

• To celebrate Hood River County and the mid-Columbia River Gorge area’s diverse cultural heritage and preserve its unique story.

• To hold in trust a collection of artifacts and documents relevant to the region’s heritage.

• To bring to life the stories of this heritage though education, discussion and exhibition.

• To encourage the value of understanding how history shaped the past, impacts the present, and influences the future

In 2010, the voters of Hood River County created a Library District to fund the Hood River, Parkdale and Cascade Locks libraries. While tax dollars keep the lights on, buildings open, and books on shelves, our tax rate is among the lowest in the state, providing just a basic level of funding. The Library Foundation is a non-profit group formed to enhance and expand library programs and services.

Hoyt Arboretum is Portland's museum of living trees. Hoyt Arboretum Friends works to maintain and improve Hoyt Arboretum and its collection for all people through advocacy, resources, awareness and education.
