"The Friends", a non-profit organization, helps the staff of Crater Lake National Park enrich visitor experiences, and preserve natural and cultural resources.

Friends of Driftwood Library is an all volunteer organization established in 1976 and dedicated to the support and enhancement of library services. Through our membership and volunteers we have developed a relationship with our community to promote the cultural and educational activities of the library. We sponsor a variety of library programs, including the Children's Summer Reading Program and the Oregon Legacy Series featuring Oregon writers in a mid-winter lecture series.

Friends of the Estacada Public Library exists exclusively for charitable, literary, and educational purposes.

Friends of Hendricks Park was organized in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to provide stewardship for Hendricks Park through education, restoration and community support. Hendricks Park is Eugene's first park and is the crown jewel of the city's park system.

Established in 1982, Friends of Historic Champoeg (FHC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to sharing Oregon's rich pioneer heritage with the public. FHC's mission is to work in partnership with Oregon State Parks to interpret the cultural and natural history of Champoeg State Heritage Area and we accomplish this by organizing living history events, creating and administering educational programs, producing park guides, and demonstrating pioneer ways of life.

Friends of Historic Forest Grove is committed to preserving local historic resources including stories, artifacts, documents, buildings, and the historic AT Smith House in the Forest Grove, Oregon area.  We maintain a museum and library and educate the community about our history through events like historic homes tours, visual storytelling, and other programming that we offer online and in person.

The Friends of Jacksonville's Historic Cemetery was formed in 2008 to better meet the needs of caring for this 30 plus acre Pioneer Cemetery which opened in 1859. It is one of the oldest and largest Pioneer Cemeteries in the state of Oregon. Our Mission is to restore, preserve, document and safeguard our Cemetery and its history for future generations. We hold events and activities throughout the year to educate and promote the history of this final resting place.

The Friends of Kam Wah Chung is a non-profit 501c3 organization run by volunteers whose mission is to provide public access to the historic site located in John Day in Eastern Oregon. In addition, we educate and inform future generations about the importance of the Chinese immigrants whose influence and contributions helped define the culture and history of the American West. Uncovering the history of Kam Wah Chung and the Chinese immigrants in this region is our ongoing process.

As stated in our bylaws the purpose of this organization shall be to support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association's Bill of Rights. And to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries, to focus public attention on this library, to stimulate the use of its resources and services, to receive and encourage gifts as well as endowments and bequests, to provide support and cooperation in developing its services and facilities for the community.

The Friends of KRVM is a not for profit organization formed to support listener supported radio station KRVM in Eugene. Among their fund raising activities are a couple of record sales each year and production and sale of a series of Local Music Sampler CDs.

To provide services to the Lincoln High School students and community. Friends of Lincoln supports fundraising efforts, community events, and school-related activities inclusive of clubs, music, drama, athletics, and in-school needs. Friends of Lincoln also leads the coordination of events like the Flock Party, Teacher Appreciation Week, Back to School Night, and Parent Teacher Conferences. Friends of Lincoln combines the roles and support activities previously delivered by the Lincoln Boosters, PTSO, and Foundation into one unified support system for the entire Lincoln High School community (approximately 1,500 students and 100 faculty, administrators, and staff).

Neighbors in 1974 formed FMNP to contest development of the Marquam Ravine and to privately raise the funds needed to preserve the land for public use. Marquam Nature Park was dedicated in 1983 and given to the City of Portland in 1989. FMNP is an all volunteer organization which works to conserve, maintain and enhance the historical, natural, and recreational resources of Marquam Nature Park and to educate the public about the Park's unique natural and cultural history.

We are a diverse group of historians, equestrian riders, ecologists and educators dedicated to preserving and maintaining this beautiful Douglas County Park. Our efforts work to provide memorable recreational and cultural experiences to visitors to Mildred Kanipe Park.

Founded in 2000, The Friends of Mt. Tabor Park strives to improve and maintain Mt. Tabor Park, to identify and solve problems, and to fund and participate in park projects. FMTP also offers programs to educate the public about the park’s ecological health and its unique geological and rich cultural history. FMTP works with Portland Parks and Recreation and neighborhood associations to monitor park use and operation and support effective management and maintenance of the park.

Friends of Mystery is a non-profit literary/educational organization headquartered in Portland, Oregon. For more than 30 years we have presented lectures, published a newsletter, and sponsored reading groups. We promote educational study in all realms of mystery. Our members are interested in fiction, true crime detection, the process by which solutions are achieved, and many other aspects of mystery. We meet 5 times annually at The Old Church for "Bloody Thursdays."

Friends of Noise is a non-profit, educational, all-ages organization. Our mission is to provide safer and productive spaces for all-ages concerts, focused arts education, and leadership opportunities for youth with a focus on providing marginalized youth and youth of color access to performative creative expression.

Friends of Santiam Pass Ski Lodge is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The purpose of the organization is to oversee the restoration of the lodge, maintain its historic condition and promote community involvement.

The Friends of South Slough Reserve (FOSS) supports the mission of the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve. Specifically, FOSS promotes and assists the Reserve in education and research activities by obtaining grants, donations and in-kind resources that enable the Reserve to provide programs and infrastructure that benefit the public.

About the Friends of 4449 Inc. SP 4449 was built in 1941 as a GS-4 "Northern" type locomotive. A 4-8-4 wheel arrangement. Retired to static display at Oaks Park in 1958, most thought SP 4449 would never run again. In 1974, she was selected to pull the American Freedom Train throughout the United States, and was subsequently rebuilt. SP 4449 ran for three years to the delight of over 30 million people. She is arguably one of the most beautiful locomotives ever built

Friends of Terwilliger is an active group of volunteers dedicated to protecting and enhancing the historic and scenic character of Terwilliger Parkway.

In 1941, the Friends of the Albany Public Library was established to provide funds for programs and equipment not covered by the City budget. As the services offered by the Library continue to increase, the support of the Friends becomes ever more important. Our organization is powered entirely by volunteers. Our members raise money to enrich the Albany Libraries, including providing thousands of free books to kids in our community every summer, cultural and educational programs, and much more

The non-profit Friends of the Amity Library is organized and operated exclusively for a charitable purpose, which is the educational purpose of assisting the library in Amity to make books and other educational resources available to the residents of Amity and the surrounding areas.

Our organization was incorporated in Oregon in 1983. In 1998 we received nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) 3. The mission of the Friends of the Ashland Public Library is to support our library to achieve any and all of its goals. Ensuring free access to information is part of Ashland's community life, to which the Friends are firmly dedicated.

In collaboration with the City of Woodburn, the Friends of the Bungalow Theatre are dedicated to restoring the historic Bungalow Theatre to be used for performing arts opportunities to enrich our community with affordable, wholesome entertainment while the adjacent Woodburn Museum enriches the visitors' experience through education and historic artifacts.

Officially organized in 1998, Friends of Canby Public Library has been going strong supporting the services our library provides our community. Membership dues are gentle on the pocketbook and are based on a calendar year. We operate the Book Garden used book store within the Canby library and use those funds to pay for the programs the library produces. In addition to cash donations which are tax deductible, we accept books, magazines, cd's, etc. for resale within the Book Garden.

The Friends of the Clatskanie Library was incorporated in March of 1991 as a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. The Foundation's purpose is to accept donations from the community to fund the continued development and enhancement of quality library services provided by the Clatskanie Library. The goal of the Foundation is to raise funds to supplement the Clatskanie Library District's budget and to provide for additional materials and equipment for the library with a focus on children.

Friends of the Columbia Gorge is the only non-profit organization dedicated entirely to protecting the Columbia Gorge. With a staff of 17, offices in Portland and Hood River, OR, and Washougal, WA, and nearly 6,000 members, Friends of the Columbia Gorge is uniquely suited to ensuring that the beautiful and wild Columbia Gorge remains a place apart, an unspoiled treasure for coming generations.

The Friends of the Coquille Library Foundation was organized in 2004 as a non-profit corporation to benefit the Coquille Public Library in its service to the community. The primary goal of the organization was to fund an expanded or new library facility in Coquille. Increasing public awareness, funding enhanced library services, and advocating for the library were additional goals.

The Friends of the Cornelius Public Library is dedicated to supporting the library through volunteer activities, donations, and fundraising to help the library be a successful part of the community. Over the last few years, we have been planning for a new 14,000 sf library to replace our current 3,000 sf space. We have raised over $3.4 million towards our goal of $4.8 million. The new library will have many more services and be a community resource and gathering center.

The Friends of the Dallas Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization of volunteers who raise funds for the library and its programs. In addition, members of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library act as ambassadors for the library at community functions and as support for the staff when they need help with events, programs, or other activities.

Friends of the Historic Columbia River Highway support the restoration and reconnection of the historic highway through the Columbia River Gorge. Our vision is to restore and preserve the existing drivable portions of the historic highway to their splendid 1920s appearance and link drivable portions with pedestrian and bicycle accessible connections, creating a continuous route through the Columbia River Gorge. Founded in 2006.

The mission of the Friends of The Historic Union Community Hall, Inc. shall be to:

• Foster community relationships,
• Provide and encourage participation in community events for all age groups,
• Support community charitable efforts,
• Promote community educational opportunities,
• Aid community art and cultural development,
• Extend community communications to City of Union residents,
• Manage and maintain the Catherine Creek Community Center facilities,
• Advocate for the historic structures on the property

To inspire, inform and support an internationally centered education at the International School of Beaverton (ISB) in the Beaverton School District.

Friends of the Lake County Fair & Round-Up was established in 2018 with the mission of maintaining the historic preservation, heritage, history and culture that has existed throughout the years, that surrounds the Lake County Fairgrounds, Fair and Lake County Round-Up.

Founded in the early 1950's and incorporated in 1979, the Friends of the Ledding Library provide financial, political and volunteer support for the Ledding Library and its programs. Funding provided by the Friends supports purchases of materials and equipment for the Library as well as paying for programming for children, young adults and adults.

The Friends of the Multnomah County Library advocate for and support our outstanding public library. We are committed to providing supplemental funding for library programs and services, and sponsoring activities which engage people who value our library.

The Friends of the North Plains Public Library (Friends) group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that coordinates fundraising events and activities to benefit the library. The Friends first met in October 2001 with the dream of establishing a library in North Plains that would eventually become part of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services in 2007.

The Friends of the Nyssa Library's mission is to support and promote the Nyssa Public Library. Volunteers participate via fundraising, as well as actively assist with library projects and events, both in-house and within our community. An ongoing project is the Nyssa Gate City Journal digitization. Funds have been raised, grants received, and the process begun to digitize 24 years of news. We are working toward the next $5000; seeking matches for the 2nd of 3 phases, in 2016 - 18.

The Friends of the Oakland Library has been organized to raise funds for the purpose of purchasing books for the Oakland Public Library of Oakland, Oregon; to help support public library activities; and to assist in the continuation of the Oakland Public Library.

Established in 2007, the mission of the Friends of the Opera House is to provide quality youth and adult performing arts and educational programs and theatrical productions for the public while working to maintain and restore the historic Elgin Opera House building.

The Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau is a non-profit organization cooperating with the National Park Service (NPS), bureau of the United States Department of Interior, in the preservation, stewardship and improvement of cultural and natural resources of the Oregon Caves National Monument. The Oregon Caves and the Chateau are unique assets of national significance that contribute to the identity and economic well-being of the local community. The Oregon Caves Chateau, a national landmark and the primary historic structure in the Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the three publicly owned, historic lodges of Oregon that provide overnight accommodations. The furnishings and setting create a feeling of nostalgia that is unforgettable.

The mission of the Baker Heritage Museum is to conserve artifacts of historical Baker County, to educate the public about the development of the area, to preserve local archives and to make them available for research.

Supporting the education outreach and community outreach of the Portland'5 Centers for the Arts.

In 1988 a group of library patrons realized how much the Library had enriched their lives and they wanted to give something back in return.  They wanted to take an active role in helping the library provide its services to the county.  They called themselves Friends Of The Library.   They incorporated,  wrote bylaws, elected a board of directors and got to work. Over the years the Friends have volunteered thousands of service hours working at the library; solicited books for the bi-annual Book Sale, run the sale,  and raised significant dollars; sponsored countless cultural events. The driving force behind the Friends is the desire to help the Library enhance the services it provides – through literature, community involvement with writers and writing, access to literary culture.

For more than 50 Years, The Friends continue to: Support Youth Programs and other ongoing Library Programs Focus attention on the Salem Public Library Stimulate the use of the Library's resources and services Receive and encourage gifts Promote and encourage the growth and expansion of the Library Support and cooperate with the Library in developing Library services and facilities for the community

Our non-profit corporation's primary purpose is to partner with the Siuslaw Public Library District through advocacy and fundraising. Members participate in activities such as book sales, volunteering at the library, programs for the public benefit, and many other projects that support our library district in this small coastal area. The community has been blessed with a beautiful library that is used by thousands of visitors as well as local community members.

We are supporters of the Vernonia Library, helping fulfill it's mission of providing low cost reading material for the citizens of the Vernonia area, as well as programming that is appropriate and interesting for all ages.
